Complaints and reporting an offer

Tell the organisation responsible for the issue what happened and what you would like put right. Keep a copy of your message and any response.

A problem with a booking

Raise the issue with the business that sold your holiday, using its complaints procedure. Include your booking reference, the relevant dates and a clear explanation of the problem. If you are travelling, report problems promptly to the contact given in your travel documents.

If the seller belongs to ABTA or another relevant scheme, check whether its dispute process applies after the seller has had an opportunity to respond. Do not assume that every business or booking is covered by the same scheme.
